Writing classes are not exactly the most entertaining in school, but they are still required. If you ask the average student about their thoughts regarding having to sit through a writing class they will give you one simple answer: it is boring. Even though writing lessons are all part of the school curriculum, many students simply cannot deny the fact that having to go through an entire hour of boring lectures can really affect their performance on the subject. So what could a teacher possibly do to invigorate their desire to learn how to write? Well one effective method is by adding some humor into the mix.
Humor is a perfect way of connecting with your students. Adding a little laughter into your discussions gives them a much needed break from all of the stress that comes with being a student.
