Why Search Engines Love Blogs

You must have heard this statement many times that 'Search engines love blogs'. If you are a newbie, you might be wondering why. Why do most marketers suggest having blog installed to your domain (even if you don't have it under root, you can have it under a separate folder along with your website)?

In today's article, we will find out the answer why search engines love blogs.

Whenever you are looking for a solution to get better search engine positioning, it is likely you are advised having blog installed in your domain. However, it is not as simple as it seems to be at the first place.

First of all, a blog is not a magical solution as someone may make you to believe in that way for their own benefits. In fact, a lonely blog does not make much difference in terms of higher positioning and the like. It has to be updated with relevant content on a regular basis and must be linked back from relevant sources in order to stay effective on search engine results.

Now the most important question comes – why do search engines love blogs? There are mainly 3 factors that give weblog more weight than a website. Let's find out each of these 3 factors that make blogs more preferable to search engines than websites.

1. Reader Friendly Resources

Corporate websites typically offer conversion-driven information and thus users may lack the comfortable environment that they are mostly seeking pre-conversion information delivered in a lucid tone. This is what the content delivery style of a blog, and not of a corporate website. So, blogs are more human reader friendly, which is why loved by search engines.

2. Fresh Keyword Rich Content Updated on a Regular Interval

Search engines love blog because of the fresh content it delivers fresh content on a regular interval. It's quite common that blogs are updated on a weekly basis (many of them on a daily basis), but corporate websites are somehow quite inactive. Since addition of content on a regular interval encourages search engines to crawl deep more frequently, and hence they are perceived more attractive to the spiders.

Blogs offer more opportunity to list as many posts as you want, which is not likely the case with a corporate website for possible risk of conversion path distraction. So a blog is presumably more keyword rich (due to the inclusion of more keyword rich pages / posts) than a website of the same genre.

3. Deep, Topical, Inbound, Outbound Link Building in a Consistent Fashion

Search engines love blogs because of the high quality linking structure which is the in-built characteristics of a blog. Typically blog posts are linked with the help of deep topical links. Also blogs are usually rich with inbound and outbound links and those links are distributed in a consistent manner. These are all loved by search engines.

All these factors contribute to deeper and faster indexing in the search engines. So if you are still neglecting the power of blogging, it's the high time that you start one for you. Don't be late.

4 Reasons Why Blogging Rocks!

Why is blogging so important? Why are so many people are choosing to do it? Well to answer this, having a blog is very beneficial in terms of internet marketing or doing any type of home business.

It is sad how most people are not taking full advantage of the unlimited potential accession to blogs. This may seem kind od weary to understand at first, so I will be going over a list of benefits from just blogging.

Reason #1

Search engines love blogs. Why? Well because blogs are easily customizable and they are virtually designed to create more content. Since most search engines like Google wants to ensure their users are happy, they make sure that they give results of sites that are related to the specific search queries, has frequent new content, and there is activity on the site.

And blogs provide this to search engines and that's why engines like Google loves blog, not to mention the various SEO benefits they have.

Reason #2

Blogging consistently equals money in your pockets. Yes there I said it, and yes it is true. Many people whom are coming into the internet marketing game think at first making money by blogging can be easy at first, but once they noticed it takes work, most of them give up. :(

But the real go-getters know that if people are actually making money blogging then, all that is needed is some learned skills sets on how to set up a blog and market it, and how to stay consistent at it.

Reason #3

It becomes a habit and even addicting. And this is true as well. With about a month or two of blogging daily, you'll noticed people will begin commenting on your post thus giving you praise on your blog.

As human beings we love to feel good about  ourselves, so reading heart warming comments from others can be a good feeling and therefore somewhat addicting. :)

Reason #4

Blogging allows you to build a following of fans thus making you like an internet rockstar. And like I said on the third reason, people will begin commenting and showing love on your blog, and when you are getting  love shown to you at the same time making money while doing it, its kind of like being a rockstar.
